What is EasySIGN?
EasySIGN is Windows software to design and produce signs fast, flawless, with high quality. Learn more about our software.
How do I start my software?
The software requires a password to start up. You have received a password in your email. Sign in with your email and password. You can use your license on any PC. Download the latest version of EasySIGN and sign in to the software with your account, that’s it 🙂
Can I work with EasySIGN on my Mac?
EasySIGN is a Windows software package. You can run EasySIGN on a Mac if you run Windows under a virtual environment (for example with Boot Camp or Parallels).
Will my plotter/printer/router work with EasySIGN?
EasySIGN is compatible with most plotters, printers and routers, so probably with yours too! Have a look at our list of supported devices and the guide to configure your plotter in EasySIGN. Can’t find your machine in the list? Contact us at support@easysign.com for a free custom solution.
I need help with the installation of my plotter. Could you do that for me?
We are happy to help you install and set up your EasySIGN software in combination with your plotter and printer! This service is not included within the price of the software. Have a look at our Premium Support options.
Will I keep my files when I update to the latest version of EasySIGN?
Of course! You can open your older files, even from EasySIGN V5, in the latest version of EasySIGN. However, you can’t open new files in your old version of EasySIGN, but you’ll get addicted to the latest version so there’s no reason for going back 😊
Which version of Windows do I need to install and work with the latest version of EasySIGN?
We recommend a 64-bit system running a Microsoft-supported version of Windows 10 or Windows 11. EasySIGN is not recommended for Windows versions that are no longer supported by Microsoft, including outdated releases of Windows 10 or Windows 11. Installing EasySIGN requires approximately 2 GB of free hard drive space. We recommend having an additional 10 – 15 GB of free space available for temporary files and related system activity. We recommend 6 GB of RAM, with a minimum requirement of 2 GB. There are no specific graphics card requirements, unless you are using Adobe Photoshop 2022 or higher. In that case, please refer to Adobe’s system requirements. Depending on the older machine(s) you use, the PC may need to be equipped with the correct port. To advise on this, we need more information about the brand and type of machine, as well as the current port being used.

Why can’t I sign in to the webshop?
You do not have an account in the new webshop yet, because we have switched to a different system this year. We would like to ask you to once manually renew your license. You can do the payment online in our shop, and there is your account 🙂 Go get it now!

Subscriptions

How many licenses do I need?

It depends on your situation. How many people need to work with EasySIGN at the same time? EasySIGN works with floating (concurrent) sign-in licenses. You can install one license on multiple PCs and easily switch between workstations. One license can be active on one PC at a time.

Example: You have 2 licenses on the same sign-in (one license user e-mail address) and EasySIGN is installed on 5 PCs. In that case, EasySIGN can be active on 2 PCs at the same time. On all PCs, you can see where the licenses are and you can claim a license that is currently in use. This will release the license on the other PC. Everyone can always save their work.

I want to engrave. Which subscription should I choose?
For engraving, EasySIGN Premium has all the tools you need. 😊 If you also want to do laser engraving and laser cutting, EasySIGN Pro is a great fit as well.
I want to use EasySIGN on 2 PC’s, do I need a second license?
An EasySIGN subscription is a sign in license. You can work on multiple PC’s with EasySIGN. But one at the same time. You need 2 licenses if you want to work on 2 PC’s at the same time.
I’ve got a mail about renewing my license manually, what’s that?
Because we have switched to a different system, we would like to ask you to once manually renew your license. You can do the payment online in our shop. Have a look!  
What’s the biggest difference between the Starter and the EasySIGN Pro license?
EasySIGN Pro is the best choice if you want to create stunning signs in less time. You can work with all kinds of designs, file formats and software packages. The Starter has the minimal functionality to control the cutter. EasySIGN Pro comes with a lot of other benefits, have a look!
Do I need a dongle?
No. EasySIGN uses sign-in licenses: just log in with your e-mail address and password, so you don’t need a dongle anymore 😊. An internet connection is required at least when starting the software. No internet at your place? Please contact our support team. Offline licenses (with or without a USB dongle) are available as an option.

Which CorelDRAW, Illustrator and Photoshop versions are supported by EasySIGN Compatibility?

EasySIGN Compatibility supports selected versions of CorelDRAW, Corel PHOTO-PAINT, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

The supported application versions depend on whether you use EasySIGN 64-bit or EasySIGN 32-bit. Install the supported Corel or Adobe application before installing or updating EasySIGN, so EasySIGN can detect it and install the corresponding Compatibility component.

Is there a pantone working colour pallet available for EasySIGN?
Since Pantone is a protected brand, we are not allowed to include it in our software. You can create your own color library per customer or per job and convert the pantone colors to CMYK or RGB via https://www.pantone.com/color-finder
What are layers and objects?
Everything you create in EasySIGN, is an object. It can be a simple shape (rectangle, circle, etc.), a complex curve, text, a bitmap, groups of other objects, effects, anything! These objects are positioned on layers. By default you’ll have the Main Layer (containing your design), Guidelines layer (not part of the design but helpful when designing), and Cropmarks layer (not part of your design but helpful when producing). You can add any other layer and position the objects as you like, if you’d like to structure your worksheet.
Are there single line fonts in EasySIGN available?
Yes! There are 2 single line fonts in EasySIGN “DIN_NORM” and “EN_ROCKW”
How can I remove the inner lines while keeping the outer contour?
To remove the overlapping inner lines without adding an outline or sticker contour:
  1. Select all objects.
  2. Go to Edit > Welding > Melt objects.
The inner lines will be removed, while the outer contour remains intact.

Solving error messages

The message ‘no licenses found’ pops up
Please check the following things: Do you have a valid license?
  • Do you have a stable internet connection?
  • Are you signed in?
  • Is your license not in use on another PC?

Please go to https://www.easysign.com/subscriptions/ After completing the order and payment you’ll receive your confirmation, invoice, download link and credentials by email. Install the latest version of EasySIGN and sign in with your new account, you’ll be ready to work!
EasySIGN previews not showing in Windows Explorer
If your EasySIGN files open normally when you double-click them, but Windows Explorer only shows a blank or generic file icon instead of a preview of the EasySIGN worksheet, reinstalling the latest EasySIGN version can restore the previews. Follow these steps:
  1. Download the latest version of EasySIGN.
  2. Open your Downloads folder.
  3. Right-click the EasySIGN setup file and select Run as administrator.
  4. Complete the EasySIGN installation.
  5. Do not start EasySIGN yet.
  6. Restart your PC.
  7. After Windows has restarted, open Windows Explorer again.
The previews of your EasySIGN .ES files should now be displayed again. Tip: In Windows Explorer, select Large icons or Extra large icons to make the worksheet previews clearly visible. If the EasySIGN previews are still not displayed after reinstalling and restarting Windows, please contact EasySIGN Support.
